Pac-12 football picks

Hey, if you bet on my picks in Vegas last week, you didn’t lose any money. Didn’t win any, either. But .500 is better than below-.500, as some coach said once, I’m sure.

On to another week. All games Saturday, except the one Friday. All lines for gambling, entertainment and mathematical theory purposes only.

Washington at California (Friday), Cal by 4: Looks like the Bears have gone into their annual shutdown mode. UW 28-14.

Stanford at Colorado, Stanford by 28: Wash, rinse, blowout. Stanford 42-3.

Washington St. at Utah, Utah by 12: WSU has played well enough to warrant picking the Cougars in this one, but Utes have been tough at home. Utah 24-20.

Oregon at USC, UO by 8: Take the Ducks and every point you can find. Oregon is more than eight points better than the Trojans. Much more. UO 52-28.

Arizona at UCLA, UCLA by 3.5: Interesting matchup of first-year Pac-12 coaches. Arizona’s been hot. Let’s stick with the Wildcats. Arizona 38-30.

Arizona St. at Oregon St., OSU by 4.5: With the right quarterback – Cody Vaz – back under center, the Beavers should win a tight one. OSU 27-20.

Last week: 3-3 straight up and against spread. Season: 49-16, 28-28.
