Obituary: Charley, Duane Evans

CHARLEY, Duane Evans September 9, 1956 - November 20, 2012 Duane was born in Nespelem, WA and was a Coville Confederated Tribe member.

He is survived by Margaret Charley, Marianne Charley, Terry Brian Charley, Brenda Charley and Harriet Leona Charley and three nephews and six nieces.

He was preceded in death by his Grandma Edna Welch Cloud, mother and father, Pearl Aleck Charley and Theophile Bill Charley, and Pearl Irene Byrd.

A wake was held overnight on Wednesday, November 21st at Toppenish Community Center, and he was buried at the Toppenish Creek Cemetery in White Swan.

Services and wake were officiated by Leon Strom, Bishop and Francis Tulee, 2nd State Elder.
