Steer Clear of These Cities
Washington, D.C., ranks at the top of the list of cities with crash-prone drivers
You may think you have to share the road with some awful drivers during your daily commute, but Washington D.C., can again lay claim to having the absolute worst motorists in the nation, according to the 2012 “America’s Best Drivers Report” issued by Allstate Insurance in Northbrook, Ill.
Allstate ranks America’s 200 largest cities in terms of collision frequency and found that residents of our nation’s capital were 112.1 percent more likely than the average driver to get into an accident.
Meanwhile, the safest drivers can be found in Sioux Falls, S.D., where motorists are 27.6 percent less likely to be involved in a crash.
Here’s Allstate’s list of the 10 U.S. cities having the worst drivers:

3. Providence, R.I.
4. Hialeah, Fla.
5. Glendale, Calif.
6. Philadelphia, Pa.
