Fatal assault in Ferry County

REPUBLIC, Wash. — The Ferry County sheriff’s office says a man was fatally assaulted at a home Saturday near the town of Malo (MAL’-oh) in northeast Washington.
Deputies responded to a phone call and found the victim, identified as Brian Bill, who later died at Ferry County Hospital in Republic.
KXLY reports a suspect was arrested for investigation of murder.
