Column misrepresents
Shawn Vestal’s column on Friday mischaracterized part of an account of a meeting between County Commissioner Todd Mielke and developer Lanzce Douglass, with respect to one of several areas of disagreement between them. Mielke said that he introduced the subject of his re-election campaign himself in an attempt to set up a meeting later, and that Douglass then immediately “engaged the discussion” by asking questions and offering to help.
