Obituary: Birr, Richard J.

(Age 63) Born November 10, 1949 in Seattle, WA and passed away April 5, 2013 in Spokane, WA., where he resided for the last 34 years.

Richard married his wife, Claudia, on July 10, 1971.

Richard is survived by his sons; David Birr, Kelly Birr, and Nick Birr and daughter Leah Birr.

He also leaves behind three brothers; Robert Birr, Steven Birr, and Christopher Birr.

He will be missed by his grandchildren Zoe Birr, Brodie Birr, Sylas Birr, Eden Birr, Jolene Birr and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Claudia Birr, his parents; Richard and Anne Birr, and brother Michael Birr.

Richard was an avid fisherman and loved baseball.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 12:30 p.m. at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home.

The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
