Jim, Pam to attend Scranton ‘Office’ wrap

From Wire Reports

Ain’t no party like a Scranton party – especially if the guests include Jim and Pam from “The Office.”

Two of the biggest stars of NBC’s comedy will visit Scranton, Pa., next month for a wrap party for the long-running show set in the northeastern Pennsylvania city.

Organizers of the May 4 celebration announced Thursday that John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer are among the cast and crew members who’ll attend. They play lovebirds Jim and Pam Halpert.

The Times-Tribune newspaper reports the festivities include a breakfast for fans, a panel discussion with the show’s writers and a parade. There also will be a cast question-and-answer session and a sneak peek of the last episode. The series finale is May 16.

Reality show to star Bruno’s sisters

Bruno Mars isn’t the only singer in the family.

The 27-year-old Grammy winner’s four sisters will appear in a WEtv reality series documenting the recording process of their debut album, the cable network announced Wednesday. The show will air this fall. It will include eight hourlong episodes.

Tiara, Tahiti and Presley Hernandez are moving from Hawaii to Los Angeles to join their older sister Jamie. The sisters perform as The Lylas. Mars, who was born Peter Hernandez, moved from Hawaii to live with Jamie in Los Angeles in 2002 after he graduated from high school.

Rapper Ross gets boot from Reebok

Reebok has ended its relationship with Rick Ross following heavy criticism of lyrics by the rapper considered by some to be pro-rape.

The sneaker brand said in a statement Thursday that “Reebok holds our partners to a high standard and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand. Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so.”

Ross formally apologized for his lyrics on Rocko’s song “U.O.E.N.O.” in a tweet last week. It came the same day a women’s group, UltraViolet, protested outside of one Reebok store in Manhattan. In his apologetic tweet, Ross said his lyrics were misinterpreted. He said he doesn’t condone rape and apologized for lyrics that were “interpreted as rape.”
