Meyer, Tennell picked

Spokane’s Erik Meyer and Adron Tennell were selected to the All-Arena Football League first-team offense. Meyer passed for 4,667 yards and 112 touchdowns, both franchise records. He led the AFL in pass efficiency (123.6) and completion percentage (68.2). Tennell (pictured) led the league in scoring with 56 touchdowns (49 receiving) by a wide margin. He finished the regular season with 156 receptions for 1,792 yards. Philadelphia had four first-team offense selections. Arizona, which entertains Spokane for the National Conference championship on Saturday in Phoenix, had one first-team selection and five on the second team. Spokane’s Terrance Sanders was named the first-team kick returner on Wednesday. – Jim Meehan
