Obituary: Aiello, Enerina
Age 83
Enerina was born September 27, 1930 to Antonio and Maria Teresa Pagliuso in Maione, Calabria Province of Cosenza, Italy.
At the age of twenty, Enerina married the love of her life Joseph Aiello on March 3, 1951 in Maione, Italy.
Joe and Enerina were married 62 years before his passing on November 29, 2012.
Exactly one year to the day after Joe’s death, Enerina passed away joining him in eternal rest.
Enerina was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family and showed it in many ways.
She taught us all the meaning of love, of generosity and of kindness to others.
Enerina was known for her loving hospitality, cooking and baking of specialty Italian cookies and pastries.
Enerina was a mom and friend who always put others ahead of herself.
Her kind heart and warm smile will truly be missed by all the lives who she has touched throughout the years.
Enerina is survived by her two sons John and Anthony Aiello, both of Spokane; one brother Gino Pagliuso, Cosenza, Italy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Enerina was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Joseph and beloved sister, Imperia Santelli.
The family would like to thank Dr. Stephen Johnson and Dr. Michael Williams for the dear care of our Mom these past years.
Visitation will be Friday, December 6th from 11-4 pm with Vigil Rosary services at 5 pm, all at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division in Spokane.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 11 am and will be celebrated at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 428 W. 19th, Spokane with entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
