Obituary: Coblentz, Calvin R.

COBLENTZ, Calvin R. “Cal” (Age 86) Entered into heaven on Thanksgiving Day, Novem- ber 28, 2013.

He was born January 4, 1927 in Oregon City, Oregon to Mattie (Slabaugh) and Menno Coblentz.

Cal was the oldest child of eight.

He is preceded in death by Sanford and Howard and is survived by Kenneth, Doris, Laurence, Raymond and Melvin.

He also leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, Annabelle (Witmer); four living children Dianne, Kathy, Calvin and Christine; he was blessed with 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

With his warm, fun loving and dynamic personality, he was loved by all and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 5PM Saturday, December 7, 2013 at his home church, Bethel Church of the Nazarene, 1111 S. Thor Street in Spokane.
