Transgender Children’s Playgroup and Parents Group – Open to all gender-nonconforming and transgender children 13 and younger, the playgroup provides a supportive space for children to socialize. Understanding Trauma – For survivors of sexual assault; free and open to men, women, adolescents and caregivers of survivors. Veterans Outreach Center Free counseling for male and female veterans sexually assaulted or harassed during their military service, and for war zone veterans and significant others; for appointment, call (509) 444-8387.

Washington Adoption Reunion Movement – For those involved in search and reunion of adoptions. Meets the third Thursday of every month, 7 p.m., Mother Bede Room at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center; call Joan DeGroot at (509) 921-0600.

Woman to Woman – For breast cancer patients, survivors, family and friends; meets second and fourth Mondays of the month, 6-7 p.m., Deer Park, Mount Carmel (Colville) and Newport Community hospitals; (800) 228-6618.

Women with Cancer Support Group – For women wanting support and encouragement, meets second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, 5:30 p.m., Cancer Care Northwest North Spokane Office, 605 E. Holland Ave., Suite 100. Call 228-1244 to register.
