John Davis has been found safe, the Spokane Police Department reported.

A 70-year-old man who suffers from dementia has been missing from a retirement home in north Spokane since Thursday afternoon. Spokane police are asking the public for help finding John W. Davis, who was last seen near Franklin Hills Health and Rehabilitation at 6021 N. Lidgerwood Street at 2 p.m. on Thursday. He walked away from the retirement home and staff told police Davis suffers from dementia, a news release said. Davis is white, 5-foot-6, 160 lbs., with gray hair and blue eyes.
