COMING UP: Tonight vs. UT Arlington, 7:05; Saturday vs. Louisiana Tech, 7:05 p.m.

OUTLOOK: After two road losses last week, Idaho is buttressed between the University of Texas at Arlington and San Jose State for sixth place in the WAC. Tonight the Vandals host UT Arlington, a team they’ve already beaten on the road (77-64). The Vandals still can nab the fifth seed for the WAC tournament, but they need to beat the Mavericks again and have UT Arlington lose to Utah State, Denver and New Mexico State – three of the WAC’s top four teams. Idaho closes out its quick homestand against WAC-leading Louisiana Tech, which has won 13 straight.
