Obituary: Vicars, Donna Rae (La Cour)
Age 66
She was born on May 8, 1946 in Tacoma, WA to Katherine Pearl Wood and adopted by Ray and Nellie La Cour in June of 1946.
She was raised in Selah, WA, attended Selah High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1964.
Donna married Alan Vicars on September 4, 1982 and had three children, Patty Boyd of Portland, OR and was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Conklin and stepson, Russell Vicars.
She is also survived by four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a retired civil servant, serving at Fairchild AFB.
She was a member of the Deer Park, WA VFW Auxiliary, Red Hats and Cheney Good Sam’ers RV Chapter and volunteered at the Southside Senior Center.
She enjoyed community service, animal rescue, camping, sight-seeing and traveling.
A celebration of Donna’s life will be held at a later date.
