Braves edge Castlegar

The Spokane Braves scored three times in the second period, then held on for a 3-2 win over the Castlegar Rebels in KIJHL play Sunday at Eagles Ice-A-Rena.

Coleman McDonald, Dylan Tappe and John Ryskamp scored for the Braves (13-26-3-3), who held the Rebels scoreless on 15 power plays. Matt Zenzola made 45 saves for Spokane.
