Obituary: Lynch, Lavonne

LYNCH, LaVonne (Age 71) LaVonne Lynch passed on to Heaven, to peace and to renewed health on July 26, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer and kidney disease.

Born and raised in Seattle she lived in the Spokane/ Coeur d’Alene area most of the last 35 years.

She received numerous awards for her volunteerism, and was a Volunteer Assistant Ombudsman with Area Agency on Aging of North Idaho; past President of the CdA Chapter of AARP; member of the Spokane Valley Eagles, Post Falls American Legion, CareNet, Compassions and Choices, Panhandle Coalition and others.

LaVonne will now be reunited with her mother Helen Hyer-Common, step-father George Common, sister Dorothy Holley and grandparents and uncles.

She is survived by her daughter, Christine (Lynch) Lind of Spirit Lake; brother and wife Cal and Darlene Hyer of Albuquerque; sister and husband Sonya and Art Rosengren of Tukwila; sister Kathy Hyer of Beaverton and many wonderful aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and very special friends.

Memorial Services will be held at Heartland Crossing Senior Center, 7745 Heartland Dr., CdA, Friday August 2, 2013 at 10:00 a.m.
