Embroidery Classes - Sew E-Z Too and E-Z Knit Fabrics are hosting two days of classes with South African-based embroidery design company Hatched in Africa. 10th Annual Parade of Paws - A fun-packed two- or four-mile walk to benefit the animals at the Spokane Humane Society. Early registration is available on Friday, noon-7 p.m. Day of event registration starts at 8 a.m. Virtual walkers are also welcome online. All walkers will receive a special goody bag. Road to Regional SCRAPS Open House - The Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service will open its doors for a sneak peek. See the construction plans and the changes in animal control that will be implemented in January. The day will begin at 9 a.m. on June 15 with the Mutts, Meows and Motorcycles Ride from the new Harley-Davidson location, at 19011 E. Cataldo Ave., and end at the former Harley-Davidson building and future site of SCRAPS, at 6815 E. Trent Ave. Tours of the facility begin at 10 a.m. The event will also feature animal-related vendor booths, a pet emporium, a “Do You Look Like Your Dog” contest, adoptable pets, entertainment, face painting, raffles and more.
