Age 90
with his family at his side.
He was born in St. Maries, ID, and grew up in Maulden, WA.
Phil married Eileen Lytle, June 27, 1947 in Portland, OR.
He received a B.S.
from Washington State, 1944 and an M.D.
from the University of Oregon in 1949.
He established his medical practice in Zillah, WA.
Phil served in the U.S. Navy from 1953-1955 and participated in Operation Passage to Freedom transporting Vietnamese citizens from Hanoi to Saigon.
He retired from Eastern State Hospital, Medical Lake, WA.
in 1988.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine, daughter Sharon (Ernest) Fierst, stepdaughter Lisa (Keith) Schepp, son, Ted, stepson William Maguire, one sister Patricia Hughes, four grandsons and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Riverside Memorial Park 211 N. Government Way, in Spokane on Monday, June 10, at 3:00pm.
