Albeni Falls Dam Tour and Presentation - A park ranger will begin our tour at the Albeni Falls Visitor Center and present an interactive lesson about edible plants on June 20 and water safety on June 27. Road to Regional SCRAPS Open House - The Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service will open its doors for a sneak peek. See the construction plans and the changes in animal control that will be implemented in January. The day will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday with the Mutts, Meows and Motorcycles Ride from the new Harley-Davidson location, at 19011 E. Cataldo Ave., and end at the former Harley-Davidson building and future site of SCRAPS, at 6815 E. Trent Ave. Tours of the facility begin at 10 a.m. The event will also feature animal-related vendor booths, a pet emporium, a “Do You Look Like Your Dog” contest, adoptable pets, entertainment, face painting, raffles and more.
