“SENDING WISHES TO HEAVEN”

Barb Litchfield
I Wake up in the morning thinking of you I Go to sleep at night thinking of you It’s YOUR Special Day… SENDING WISHES TO HEAVEN You have been my inspiration on a cloudy day You have been the sunshine of my life I remember you smiling when you were hurting inside Never to let anyone know of your pain SENDING WISHES TO HEAVEN I remember holding your hand when it was time to say goodbye I wondered how will I go on without you? Who will I turn to on the darkest nite? SENDING WISHES TO HEAVEN You gave me the strongest foundation Everything is in DIVINE ORDER …they say I didn’t believe them… SENDING WISHES TO HEAVEN I lied down when you left, never believing life would go on Time stopped…nothing mattered…all there was …was emptiness SENDING WISHES TO HEAVEN And then one day, the sun rose in it’s beauty, and set again The sky was blue, the stars and moon came out And I knew…God has a plan, I must go on I’ll love you forever SENDING WISHES TO HEAVEN
