Obituary: Beauchene, Alice E. (Tinnel)

BEAUCHENE, Alice E. (Tinnel) (Age 90) Alice was born in Thornton, WA, September 15, 1922.

Her family moved to Oakesdale, WA after living in Portland, OR for several years.

In 1939 she married AlfredStanley.

They had two children, Richard Stanley and Margie Naccarato.

In 1968 Alice married Paul Beauchene.

They worked together at United Van Lines.

They were a great team, winning a national award for their outstanding service to the moving industry.

Alice was always searching for ways to bring joy to others.

She volunteered at Holy Family Hospital for many years donating over 6,000 hours of her time.

She enjoyed making neck pillows for cancer patients, crocheting hats for the newborns, and working at the “front desk.”

Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Beauchene, parents Walter and Minnie Tinnel, sister Margaret Manley, and brother Robert Tinnel.

She is survived by her son, Richard (Tina) Stanley, daughter Margie Naccarato, sister Ruth (Gunnar) Munther, many special nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Alice had a special way of bringing smiles and laughter to everyone around her.

She will be dearly missed, but her memory will continue to warm the hearts of all who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held on March 23rd at 4:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home.
