A cold spell: Mindy Patterson of the Queen Bees of North Idaho College ponders the word “intelligible” during the Kootenai County Adult Spelling Bee at NIC on Thursday. The bee is sponsored by the Coeur d’Alene area branch of the American Association of University Women to raise money for scholarships at the school.
