Three will join Vandals women’s basketball
The University of Idaho women’s basketball team announced three new players who will join the roster for the 2014-15 season.
Coach Jon Newlee said Bethany Krause, of Centerville (Ohio) High School; Renae Mokrzycki, of Melbourne, Australia and North Idaho College; and Geraldine McCorkell, also of Melbourne, have signed national letters of intent to play for Idaho.
Krause is a 5-9 guard who averaged 9.2 points her junior season. McCorkell is a 6-2 post player who was a member of the team that won the 2013 Australian National Junior Championships. She averaged 14.9 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Mokryzcki, a 6-0 forward, is averaging 5.5 points a game for NIC.
