More UW coverage

In this last Sunday’s (Sept. 29) sports section, the 55-17 loss of the Cougs looked like they had just lost the Rose Bowl.

Top-fold coverage continuing with three more pages of coverage with color photos. Meanwhile, the 4-0 Huskies’ 31-13 victory, was buried on page 7.

Look, I grew up in Spokane and always rooted for the Cougs. Who didn’t sit around listening to Bob Robertson call the Cougar games?

I went to the UW and my wife is a WSU grad. We were married 30 years ago on Apple Cup weekend. I will always root on the Cougars with enthusiasm other than the Apple Cup.

C’mon, man. I’m not even asking for equal coverage. But do you think we could get closer to 60/40 coverage?

Maybe the Dawgs winning could actually make the front page?
