Halloween forecast for Washington not too scary
SEATTLE — Forecasters have a premonition that Thursday night should be all right for trick-or-treating in most of Washington.
Eastern Washington should be mostly dry with evening temperatures mostly in the 40s.
In Pullman, where the Washington State Cougars have a Halloween football game against Arizona State, the National Weather Service forecasts partly cloudy skies with a low around 37.
In Western Washington, showers should end by early evening and clouds will keep temperatures in the 50s.
The Weather Service foresees scarier weather on Saturday when a storm blows into the state with gusty winds and rain.
