Multiple-vehicle crash on I-90 cleared

A multiple-vehicle crash blocked multiple lanes of traffic heading east on Interstate 90 near downtown Spokane during rush hour Thursday morning. Two vehicles were involved in the collision, according to the Washington State Patrol. Traffic was redirected to the center lanes near exit 281 heading into downtown, and cameras showed congestion reaching west along the highway shortly after 9 a.m. The lane closure extended east to the area in front of Deaconess Hospital, according to the WSP. The WSP, Spokane Police and firefighters responded to the incident. The WSP has reported there are no injuries in the crash. The collision occurred around 8:40 a.m.
