Obituary: Tschetter, Hazel Frances
Age 87
A Spokane resident all her life.
She attended Holy Names Academy and Kinman Business University.
She married Gilbert Tschetter on December 26, 1954, and shared 50 beautiful years with him.
Hazel is preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Larry and Edward; and sister Marian.
Hazel nurtured the lives of many children, frequently regarded as the “neighborhood mom” with cookies and a hug.
Enjoying hours in her flower and vegetable garden, Hazel used her green thumb, embracing the beauty of the great outdoors.
She was born and raised in Newman Lake, Washington, spending time near the water, in the woods, and near loved ones.
Hazel returned to her Heavenly Father on April 20, 2014, Easter Sunday.
Hazel is survived by her sons, Rick and Daniel; daughter, Kathleen; nieces, nephews, three granddaughters, and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 304 S. Adams Rd, Spokane Valley, on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 1:00PM with a reception immediately following.
