A Milestone For Maddy Pizza Fundraiser Night - Held in honor of Maddy Harris, an Airway Heights-area child who needs a kidney transplant. The event is today at two Papa Murphy’s locations, 2418 W. Northwest Blvd. and 1530 E. Francis Ave. Papa Murphy’s will donate 15 percent of all food sales on this day to help raise funds for Maddy’s transplant. Spokane Valley Partners Distribution - Those who apply for food assistance will receive items to prepare their Christmas dinner in their regular food distribution. Hours of operation are: Wednesdays, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and 1:30-3:45 p.m.; Thursdays, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday Food Bank visits are by appointment only for advanced-age seniors and/or physically disabled (individuals ages 70 and over and/or disableed in a mobility-limiting manner).
