Obituary: Sturgeon, Mary Secor Bourque

STURGEON, Mary Secor Bourque (Age 83) Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend peacefully passed away after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease on February 15, 2014.

Mary was born in Nynck, NY., on March 5, 1930.

She graduated from high school in 1948 at Sarasota High School in Florida.

She married Arthur L. Sturgeon on February 14, 1998 in Coeur d’Alene, ID.

They resided together in Otis Orchards, WA.

Mary ran a printing business for several years and was a member of the Inland Empire Steam and Gas Buffs, where she assisted in putting out the “Old Iron” newsletter.

A couple of her past times were reading and traveling.

She enjoyed spending time with all of her family and friends throughout the years.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Arthur; step-daughter, Debbie Sturgeon-Keller; step-son, Larry Sturgeon; sons, Jay Scott Bourque, and Craig Bourque; sister, Carol Secor; brother, Donny (Jean) Secor; and numerous grandchildren.

At Mary’s request and honoring her wishes, no services will be held.
