Age 96
(Age 96) Passed away December 20, 2013 in Spokane Valley, WA.
She was born December 3, 1917 to Edward and Clara Hornshuch in Portland, OR.
She is survived by: son, Keith Liptack (Karen) of Spokane Valley, WA; daughter, Jeanie Hulbert (David) of Scottsdale, AZ; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Liptack in 1980.
Gertrude lived a life dedicated to her family and also loved her many dogs.
She was an accomplished pianist and organist and she played at many family gatherings.
She was active at Sandpoint Community Church and was a president of Tarettes at the Queen City Yacht Club in Seattle.
Her kind spirit and lovely smile will be missed by all who knew her.
