BOST, Thomas Tucker, Jr. (Age 91) Of Kennewick, died at his residence on January 21, 2014.

He was born September 5, 1922 in Elmore City, Oklahoma to Thomas Sr. and Bessie Bost.

He spent his early years and received his education in Elmore City, graduating in 1940.

He attended two years of college in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Following high school and college he began his career as a mechanic, moving to Washington State in 1951.

In 1955 he married Faye Jetton and they made their home in Wenatchee.

Their daughter, Trina, was born in 1956 and son, Doug, in 1959.

While living in Wenatchee he owned and operated Tommy’s Shell Station.

In 1968 he transitioned into construction, working as a heavy duty mechanic in several places before settling in Spokane.

Tommy and Faye enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with family.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge/Animal Unit, the Shriners and he enjoyed being the “Top Dog”.

He was a faithful blood donor and member of the Red Cross 20 Gallon Club.

They moved to Kennewick six years ago to be near their family.

He is survived by his wife Faye Bost, daughter Trina and her husband Duane Dustin, son Doug and his wife Donna Bost, seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2014, 2:00 p.m., at MUELLER’S TRI-CITIES FUNERAL HOME, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick with viewing on Wednesday from 5 to 8:00p.m.

and Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the service begins.

Graveside services will be held at Fairmount Memorial Park, in Spokane, on Friday, January 24, at 2:00 p.m.
