ROCKFORD – The Rockford Community Center will present a free Information Fair and Chili Feed on Saturday at St. Joseph’s Parish Hall, 128 River St., Rockford, from 4 to 7 p.m.
The event will include representatives from Avista, DSHS, Work Source, SNAP, Better Health Together and more for those in need of assistance.

Rummage sale helps center’s programs
WEST CENTRAL – West Central Community Center, 1603 N. Belt St., will hold a rummage sale March 29 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and March 30 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Donations for the sale are welcome.
Proceeds benefit the center’s youth development and developmental disabilities programs.

Superhero fun run to benefit foster youth
LOGAN – The Superhero 5K fun run will take place March 29 with a 10 a.m. start at Gonzaga University School of Law, 721 N. Cincinnati St.
Entry fee is $25, with a T-shirt, and runners are encouraged to dress up as a superhero.

Neighborhood cleanup at Shaw Middle School
HILLYARD AND BEMISS – The annual neighborhood cleanup is scheduled for April 26 at Shaw Middle School, 4106 N. Cook St., from 9 a.m. to noon.
Volunteers are needed to help elderly and disabled residents with limited mobility participate in the cleanup.
Dump passes worth $25 are available at COPS Northeast, 5208 N. Market St., for neighborhood residents only – bring proof of residency. Passes are good through May 11.
