Obituary: Fah, Noralyn V.
Age 67
Born March 15, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan, Nora attended St. Gregory’s Catholic School and Michigan State University before settling in Washington State.
Nora was a practicing nurse for over 35 years, retiring from Deaconess Hospital in Spokane.
Nora was an avid gardener and outstanding cook (specializing in desserts) who enjoyed reading, camping and book club.
She was particularly fond of spending time with her husband Bob, who was and remains her soul mate.
Nora was adored by her children, grandchildren and her friend of over 35 years, Joyce Myler.
She became a proficient quilter later in life, a passion from which many of her friends and family continue to benefit.
Nora often dedicated her time to her favorite charity, Project Linus.
Nora was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and John Driscoll; and her sister, Edith Opyrchalski.
She is survived by her husband Bob; sisters, Dusty Fucik, Gael Evans, and Judy Valovich (Dean); her brothers, Tim Driscoll (Debbie) and Jack Driscoll (Helen); son, Kyle Weinandy (Laetitia); daughter, Krista Morrow (Adam); son in law Adam Fah (Patty); and her grandchildren, Madison, Margaret, Natalie, and Cameron.
As an acknowledgement and remembrance of Nora’s generosity to others, the family suggests donations to charitable organizations in lieu of flowers or gifts.
