Obituary: Marsh, Alfred James
Age 87
He was born to E. Fay and Theon E. Marsh on May 5th 1927 in Potlatch, Idaho.
He graduated from Potlatch High school,and was drafted into the army towards the end of WWII and received an honorary discharge.
Al attended trade school in Spokane to learn electronics,sound systems,and home repair.
On May 1st, 1954 He married Audrey J. Springer, daughter of William and Bernice Springer of Spokane.
Al and Audrey enjoyed 60 years together; they raised three children.
Al was a good husband and father!
Other accomplishments in life include; the ham radio club of Spokane; served in the U.S.Coast Guard Auxiliary on CD’A lake; cofounded Electronic Mfg.
Company of Rockford Bay; and helped establish the Rockford Bay Community Fire Department.
These were just a few of the accomplishments he achieved.
Al is survived by his wife Audrey; his sister Joan Cochrane; his children; Dale (Dona), Kathy (Michael), and David (Theresa).
Four wonderful grandchildren; Christopher, James (Natalie), Jessica, Jennifer (Justin).
two beautiful great-granddaughters; and one handsome great-grand- son.
Al you were/will always be loved, cherished, respected, and admired by all your family, friends, and neighbors, and will be greatly missed!
Services for Alfred Marsh will be held Saturday, May 17th at 2:00 P.M. at Millwood Community Presbyterian Church, 3223 North Marguerite Road, Spokane, WA.
