Work continues on Car Wash Plaza

John Hansen, who owns a number of car-wash businesses in the area, is building the Argonne Car Wash Plaza at 2111 N. Argonne Road. The Spokane Valley parcel measures about 5,500 square feet and was last used as a Marie Callender’s restaurant. That business has been demolished.

The general contractor is Spokane-based Vandervert Construction Inc. Crews began work on the project in March. The job is expected to be completed in June.

CustomFit Garments opens

CustomFit Compression Garments will open its first area store at 1601  N. Division St., Suite G, at Logan Square.

The retail store will use 1,460 square feet.

Owners Mike  Donahue  and  Ryan Bishop have both worked in the medical equipment and garment industry. Bishop has a background in durable medical  supplies.  Donahue has worked in the medical  compression  garment  industry. He previously owned wholesale supplier  North  American Rehab.

The two partners are planning stores in Western Washington and Arizona.

Compression garments are used by people with a variety of muscular or vascular circulatory conditions.

Valley gets new breakfast eatery

Egg It On, a new breakfast-focused eatery, has opened its doors at 16802 E. Indiana Ave., in Spokane Valley.

It has moved into the former location of the Spokane Valley Hooters.

Egg It On’s hours are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. seven days per week.

Discount City relocates

Discount City, a Spokane Valley-based appliance repair business, is taking 4,500 square feet in a warehouse at the Spokane Business & Industrial Park, 3808 N. Sullivan Road, Spokane Valley.

Owner Bert Bertholic specializes in reselling appliances, tools and furniture. He also retails a variety of ladders.
