HUDGEONS, Donald Ray (Age 63) Donald Ray Hudgeons, 63, of Spokane Valley, WA passed away Sunday, May 18th 2014 at his home after a long illness.

Donald was born February 10th, 1951 in El Centro, CA to Lulburn and Nina Hudgeons.

Graduated from Gresham High School and later attended Polytech Institute for drafting.

On October 28th, 1968, married the love of his life Jody Evanson and soon after joined the Marines where he served his country in Vietnam.

Moved to Spokane where he owned and operated a small moving business which he truly loved.

He loved playing baseball with his sons, drinking sweet tea, collecting albums and gardening.

Around his family is where he was content, and he spent most weekends with his kids and grandkids who were his world.

Donald is survived by his children: April (Robert) Shaff, Jeramy Hudgeons, Alisha (Aaron) Roberts and Brandon Hudgeons (Michaele Vigil Serpinas) all of Spokane, WA; a sister, Oleta Benson; and brother, Walt Hudgeons both of Gresham, OR; seven grandchildren, one great-grandson; several loving nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lulburn and Nina Hudgeons; and brothers, David, Mickey and Duane Hudgeons.

A celebration of his life will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Saturday, May 24th, 11 am 304 S. Adams Road Spokane, Valley, WA.
