HEAGY, Roy James Roy James Heagy, 67 years old passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 11:20 a.m.

He was in the comfort of his home in the company of family and friends.

Roy was born in Van Nuys, CA on October 12, 1946 to parents, Virginia Wilhelmina Erhle-Heagy and Jessie Royal Heagy (deceased).

He is survived by three siblings: David Heagy, Cathey Miller and Robert Heagy; three children: Quinn O’Neal Heagy, Jennifer Raychel Heagy-Logan and Jeannette Heagy-Evans; and two grandchildren: Steven Michael Kindya and Kendra Faye Logan.

He was a proud Vietnam Veteran in the United States Navy.

He was a machinist, a hydroplane boat racer (for 40+ years) with SLORA.

He lived a sober life for 22 years, loved his animals, baseball, fishing, gardening, hunting and laughing with people.

He will be greatly missed.
