(Age 72)

Of Spokane, WA., went Home to be with The Lord November 2nd, 2014.

“Rich” or “Papa” Sloan, was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Willena Sloan, and his brother James Sloan.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Renee and Dave Anderson, daughter Lori Sloan, son and daughter-in-law Chris and Brenna and his three grandchildren Ella, Aidan, and Norah Sloan.

Richard worked as a painter for the State of Washington at Fairchild Air Force Base until his retirement.

He loved restoring vintage cars, tending to his home and acreage “Boot Hill Ranch” in Chattaroy, and devoted himself to his three grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Services will be held this Friday the 7th at Timberview Christian Fellowship Church at 3 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Spokane Salvation Army.
