Mizuna “Mixology: the Art of Classic Cocktails,” a project by Sheila Evans, celebrates mixing drinks and mixing paint in equal parts. From Aviation to Whiskey Sour, each one of a series of 18 still life paintings represents a different vintage drink. The paintings, accompanied by recipes, appear in a new book written and published by the artist. The paintings will hang throughout Mizuna’s bar and new banquet space and Mizuna will offer drink specials using recipes from the book. Spokane Public Library - Downtown The Robert Radin traveling exhibition, “A Beautiful World,” containing 86 prints from six continents. Also: “Spokane in 1889,” having barely emerged from a devastating fire in Spokane Falls in 1889, Washington was declared a state. This exhibit features photos of the residents rebuilding during this time of hard work and renewal, Tuesday through Nov. 30. 906 W. Main Ave. (509) 444-5307.
