Obituary: Balsz, Henry Joe “Hank”

Age 82

BALSZ, Henry Joe “Hank” (Age 82) Hank passed away on November 5, 2014 in Mead, WA.

He was born on December 30, 1931 in Phoenix, AZ, the youngest of nine children.

Hank spent his childhood in Southern California before moving to Hood River, OR.

In the 1970’s, he moved to Spokane where he would work as a meat cutter for Rosauer’s Grocery Store for 30 years.

Hank is survived by his wife of 26 years, Barbara Balsz of Mead, WA; daughters Elizabeth Baugh of Indiana, Bernedette Baugh of Santa Anna, CA, Lillian Balsz of Hawaii, Stefanie Craig of Spokane, WA; sons David Balsz of West Kennewick, WA, Matthew Balsz of Moses Lake, WA; step-children Patrick Daisley; Sharon White, from Spokane, and Pamela Karais, from Seattle, WA; sisters Teresa Failing of Apple Valley, CA and Lillian Paniagua of Shell Beach, CA; 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on November 22, 2014 at 11:00 am to be followed by an inurnment at 1;00 pm at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
