They first lived in Farragut Naval Base, then moved to Spirit Lake, before finally settling in Post Falls in 1956.

Lois filled her life with children and family.

She always spread joy and happiness where ever she went.

Her love of sewing kept her busy and was a talent she loved to share with others.

She was very involved in the Post Falls community, and was president of the PTA, helped start the first city 4-H club, and had been honored as citizen of the year in 1983.

She made the Post Falls, JV basketball uniforms, the drill team uniforms, cheerleaders skirts, and drum major outfits.

You could drive by the house to see what gown or wedding dress was hanging in the picture window at her home.

She also made many gowns for the royalty on the Post Falls floats and gowns for dances.

She was also very active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and so enjoyed all the activities with church members.

It also meant so much to her to have her calling of historian for many years.
