Bereavement Support Groups – Hospice of Spokane offers various support groups. Spouse/Partner Grief: Wednesdays, 1-2:15 p.m. at Hospice of Spokane, 121 S. Arthur St., for those who have lost a spouse through death. General Grief: Mondays, 6-7 p.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 9706 N. Division, or 3:30-4:30 p.m. at Southside Senior Activity Center, 3151 E. 27th Ave., or Thursdays, 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Spokane Valley Senior Center, 2426 N. Discovery Place, Spokane Valley. Loss of a Child: Wednesdays, 4-5 p.m., at Hospice of Spokane. Survivor of a Loved One’s Suicide: Tuesdays, 5:30-6:30 p.m., at Hospice of Spokane. Breast Cancer Support Group – For women who want information and support through stages of cancer; meets the first and third Tuesdays of the month, 5:30 p.m., Cancer Care Northwest Valley Office, 12615 E. Mission, Suite 200, Spokane Valley. Call (509) 228-1244 to register.

Cancer – Patients, families and friends welcome; first, third and fifth Tuesdays of the month, 5:30-7 p.m., Holy Family Hospital, Health Education Center, Room 6; (509) 474-5490.

Cancer Support Group – Patients, caregivers, families and friends, meets Thursdays, 5:30 p.m., Cancer Care Northwest, 601 S. Sherman St. Call (509) 228-1206 to register.

Caregiver – For people who are primary caregivers for a family member; meets the first and third Fridays of the month, 2 p.m., Elder Services, 5125 N. Market St. Call (509) 458-7450.

Co-Dependents Anonymous (CoDA) – 12-step fellowship of men and women whose common purpose is recovery from codependence and the development and maintenance of healthy relationships.
