Coeur d’Alene Art Grant Program Three-year pilot program of the City of Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission seeks to widen arts and cultural participation and expression. Program provides support from $500 up to $1,000 for projects, opportunities, and events proposed by individuals, groups, organizations or communities of interest that offer a potential arts or cultural impact within the city of Coeur d’Alene. Classes and workshops

Introduction to Woodburning For beginning and intermediate students. Learn the basic techniques of creating burned images on wood. Ages 14 years and older. Saturday, Wednesday, Oct. 25, and Oct. 29, 5-8 p.m. $15/class, patterns will be furnished and all materials will be supplied by instructor. Students are asked to bring wood burner unit and pens. Mixed Media Canvas Class Students will learn how to create a unique canvas by adding layers of scrapbook paper, book pages, paint, ink and embellishments.
