EMERSON, Marcella Jewel Marcella “Corky” Jewel Smotherman-Emerson, 71, of Medical Lake, WA, passed away on 8/9/2014.

She was born in Seattle, WA on 12/25/1942.

Marcella graduated from Evergreen High School.

She was married to James A. Emerson on 8/13/1965.

She was a stay-at- home mother and was a member of Yesteryears Doll Club and West Seattle Square Dance Club.

She had a passion for dolls, teddy bears, and cooking.

She is survived by her husband James A. Emerson; son James L. Emerson; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday 9/2/2014, at Riverton Crest Cemetery in Tukwila, WA.
