Obituary: Bauch, Vernon G.

BAUCH, Vernon G. (Age 84) Vern was born in 1929 in Wisconsin and passed away peacefully in his sleep due to cancer on September 26, 2014.

He served as Sgt.

Vernon G. Bauch for the U.S. Air Force for four years.

He met his true love at a roller rink and married Norma in 1951.

He retired from the U.S.

Postal Service after 24 years of service.

As he was always busy, Dad then worked for AVIS as a driver, a runner for Perfection Tire, a junk metal recycler, and many other odd jobs.

He is survived by seven children; Danny Bauch, Gary (Carolyn) Bauch, Steve (Mary Ann) Bauch, Dennis Bauch, Kenny (Colleen) Bauch, Diane (John) LeFave, and Debbie Ferrians, three sisters; Bernice Zimmer, Sharon Stueck, and Marilyn Brianbaum, six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a life time member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He will be missed by all especially his devoted wife of 63 years.

Visitation will be Friday, October 3, 2014 from 2pm - 6pm at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division.

Graveside Service will be Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 11 am at Holy Cross Cemetery in the Mausoleum Chapel.
