Obituary: Red, Socrates G.

RED, Socrates G. (Age 83) Formerly of Spokane, WA, passed away peacefully at home in Clearwater, FL, March 27, 2015.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Caryle; his four children, Pam (Dan) Martin, Paula (Greg) Gruber, both of Stillwater, MN, Gregg (Chris) Red, Valley Ford, WA, and Cindy (Mike) Clarkson, Oldsmar, FL; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He worked for Hostess Baking Co. for 20 years; member of the Elks club, avid Handball player.

He played baseball for the Spokane Indians, a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He retired in Florida where he enjoyed playing softball, tennis, traveling and family.

His life will be celebrated with a private family gathering.
