Obituary: Langley, Marla
She was the youngest of 10 children in her family.
She was born in Grand Coulee, Washington and was raised along the Columbia River being the daughter of a Damn Excavation Engineer.
Marla was married to Gene Langley and had three children.
The oldest being Keven, then tina and Edlore.
They lived in Pendleton, Puyallup, Spokane and Mabton before separating.
Marla had a fourth child, Ashley with Terry Williams.
Marla’s four children gave her 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grand- children.
Marla lived in Oregon, New Mexico and North Carolina before moving back to Spokane, Washington to be close to her family.
Marla Langley was a kind hearted and giving woman that gave selflessly.
She always thought of others before herself.
Marla saved her second youngest great-grandchild’s life in her final seconds of her life.
Marla Langley will be forever known as a hero.
She will be lovingly missed but never forgotten by family and countless friends.
A Home-Going Service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, August 7, 2015 at ONE* Church (24th and Sullivan/15601 E. 24th Ave, Spokane Valley).
