Auditions

Northwest Sacred Music Chorale – The group is looking for people who love to sing. Auditions will be with Artistic Director Stan McDaniel and will last 10-15 minutes. They will include a short interview, vocalizing and singing a few lines of a hymn. A prepared solo piece is not required. Candidates are encouraged to choose and confirm a time with McDaniel at chorale@NWSMC.org or (208) 446-2333. Community Presbyterian Church, 417 N. William St., Post Falls. Classes and workshops

Learn to Paint like a Master – Artist Laurel Macdonald will lead participants as they paint in the style of one of the great masters such as Van Gogh, Monet and Seurat. Canvases will be ready to go with the underpainting and the drawing; all students have to do is fill in the color as they learn the technique.
