Obituary: Wright, Tryphosa E. “Trudy”

Age 85

WRIGHT, Tryphosa E. “Trudy” (Age 85) Trudy passed away on August 25, 2015 at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA.

She was born on June 12, 1930 in Nokomis, Saskatchewan, Canada to Emil and Wilhelmiene Litwin.

Trudy attended grades 1-12 in Nokomis, Saskatchewan, Canada and continued on to Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX.

She had degrees in French and Music as well as Chemistry and Biology degrees from Whitworth University.

Trudy also earned a degree in Electronics from Spokane Community College and acquired education at Sacred Heart to become a Medical Laboratory Technician.

Earl and Trudy were married in Abilene, TX on June 26, 1959 and lived in Abilene until they moved to Andres, TX, then on to Spokane, WA in 1964.

Trudy sang with Sweet Adelines for 35 years and taught piano for many years.

She was a seamstress and loved scrapbooking, gardening and cooking.

Trudy was active in the Church of Christ, taught bible school for 40 years and loved the Lord.

Trudy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Earl; sister Connie McNeil of Calgary, Alberta, Canada and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 1:30 pm at Heritage Funeral Home followed by a Graveside Service at Riverside Memorial Park.

There will be a potluck memorial reception honoring Trudy Wright at 3:30 pm in The Breakfast Nook Room at the Quality Inn Oakwood on 7919 N. Division St., Spokane, WA after the Graveside Service.
