Age 58
He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Rayleen (Ross) DeBauw and numerous loving extended friends and family.
John, who was more known by Mike or Dubes, loved, his wife, all his friends and family, his dog Jip (and a little bit his two cats), nature and camping (i.e.
Redwoods and the coast), racing (i.e.
NASCAR and Indy), classic cars, the Seahawks, Ducks, and the Cougars, his models, surfing the web, rainy days sitting by a fire with a story, pizza, BBQ, hotdogs, chili burgers, clam chowder, Egg Foo Young and food in general.
Please visit some of his favorite places and say a toast for him, The Swinging Doors, Domini’s, Dick’s, Petes Pizza, The Longhorn BBQ, Hudson’s, Senior Froggy’s, and Shakey’s.
He was born in Oregon where most of his extended family still lives.
His parents moved with him to Spokane, WA when he was in grade school.
He graduated from Shadle Park High school, and continued to live in Spokane until he married Helen in 2001.
Throughout his life he has worked in senior care, grocery, delivery, and truck accessories.
He inspired many with his upbeat attitude during rough times, his strength and bravery, his pictures of nature, and his tie die.
He was extremely loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
